The Road Tire for a Cart That Actually Leaves the Property
The STREETFOX is a low-profile DOT radial — five continuous ribs on a radial casing, built for lifted street-legal carts and LSVs that spend as much time on tarmac as they do on turf.
Four circumferential grooves run unbroken around the whole tire, and that uninterrupted longitudinal water path is what separates a street tread from a knobby. The ribs carry fine lateral sipes rather than open voids, so tread depth stays shallow at 8–10/32nds and the great majority of the tread face is in contact with the road at any moment. It is quiet, it is composed, and it does not wander.
It is turf safe as well as road legal — Excel builds it for street or golf course, and the closed tread edge will not tear a fairway. One thing to watch when you order: the STREETFOX 23x10.00R14 (245/50R14) shares its nominal size with the RADIAL PRO AT23x10R14. They are not the same tire. This is the street radial, with continuous ribs and only a restrained bulge at the bead; the RADIAL PRO is the all-terrain radial, with staggered blocks and a heavy-duty rim protector.
Seven sizes, every one of them radial and DOT stamped: 20x10.00R10 (245/50R10) at 20.0 inch overall diameter, 22x11.00R10 (260/60R10) at 21.6 inch, 23x11.00R10 at 23.0 inch, 245/50R12 at 21.0 inch, 23x10.00R12 (245/55R12) at 23.0 inch, 20x8.00R14 (205/40R14) at 20.87 inch and 23x10.00R14 (245/50R14) at 23.0 inch. Six of the seven run 4-ply on a 7 inch rim at 20 psi. The 23x11.00R10 is the exception — 6-ply, 8 inch rim, 32 max psi and a 10.43 inch section width, which makes it a tall balloon rather than a low profile. Check the size before you buy a matched set.

Not enough tire for our roads
Hill Country heat and chip seal finished these inside a year. A load range B casing is not enough for how far we drive.
Runs the length of our beach town at top speed without droning. Quiet the whole way there and back.
Holds on the wet shell drive
No wandering on our crushed shell drive, wet or dry.
Bolted on with nothing extra
Fitted the 245/50R12 to an Evolution D5 on its stock 12-inch wheel. Nothing to space out and nothing to trim.
Sharper steering, busier ride
Turn-in is sharper on our Bintelli Beyond since fitting these. The low-profile look is great but it finds every seam in the road.
Around 900 miles on a Yamaha Drive2 and the centre rib has barely moved.
Curb strikes have not marked them
Backed into the same concrete edge twice running errands round our gated streets. No scuff either time.
Half what my dealer wanted for the same four, and they landed before the weekend rounds started.
Smooth, but light on gravel bite
Excellent along the cart path and on tarmac all week. Take the gravel shoulder home and the shallow tread starts working hard.
Wet fairway after the morning irrigation and the ribs still bit. Nothing slid on the slope behind seven.
